I regret buying my Ford Fiesta ST150 for one reason. After inspecting it for a little while, you can see that this has clearly been in some type of accident, and one thing I didn't do before checking up on the car was a check to see if it had been written off.
So today we're going to be using CarCanny. It's extremely easy: all you need to do is go to carcanny.co.uk, enter your reg into the little box that you can see on the screen right now, click get my report, and unfortunately, as you can see, some of them are locked. Some of them you can access, but not very many.
So to unlock them, all you need to do is click on just one of the options that shows as locked, and then you get the full check. [On screen: the report now has 18 checks.] See if it's had any mileage discrepancies, see if it's been written off, just like my Fiesta. As you can see on mine, no mileage discrepancies and no written off.
