Where the data comes from

  • The DVLAThe car's registration record: make, colour, tax, and export and scrapping markers.
  • The DVSAEvery MOT test, with the mileage, failures and advisories, and whether a safety recall is outstanding.
  • Vehicle data providersOutstanding finance, insurance write-offs, stolen-vehicle records, plate changes, imports and keepers, the trade and dealer forecourt prices from recent sales of similar cars behind what it's worth, and how many similar cars are for sale, what they have sold for and how long they take to sell.

What we promise
